Terra Incognita = Uncharted Territory

This album is the culmination of 6 years together in a Baltimore Warehouse at the center of the DIY music and art scene in the city. Within Terra Incognita is encoded all of the musicians, artists, rehearsals, shows, exhibits, festivals, and nights that turned into daylight as we celebrated life, music, expression, creation, transformation, transmutation, and LOVE for our city, our planet, our beloveds.

This collection of songs was written between 2016-2019.
In 2019 Zen Xaria popped into our bubble, and completed the elemental circle of our band, arriving just in time to add voice, energy, and flute to these songs as we prepared to record them. Artifact includes an audio sample of the first time that we met Zen, as we accidentally left the rehearsal recording going through the whole interaction.

As with everyone in the world, the Covid Pandemic delayed our release by a year, but in that time we got to really take our time mixing it with William Herman at Station North Sound. We got to include our Strange Family of Daisy Castro on violin, Jimi Dawson on guitar, and Jim Hannah on percussion. Eze Jackson dropped a verse that reverberates through the multiverse like no other on Transworld.
